TOURS

Free Guided tours are available year round for groups of 5 or more. The Greenhouse and much of the Garden area is ADA Accessible. Knowledgeable Friends of Noelridge volunteers will customize your tour to fit your group. Whether preschool, grade school, intermediate, high school, home school, seniors, church groups, special needs, garden clubs, scouts or 4H, social organizations, etc., we will have a tour and/or activities to fit your needs. Call 319-286-5762 to schedule your group.

We are especially happy to talk about native plants, pollinators, the tropical rainforest, the arid desert, various houseplants and orchids, the greenhouse workings, how to take cuttings and transplant flowers, give demonstations, or even get more scientific about plants. Just let us know wht you’d like, or even if you would just like an introduction to the general activities we work on.

SELF-GUIDED tours are available ANY TIME during regular greenhouse hours 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. The Greenhouse is closed on the weekends and Holidays. Just stop in and walk through any of the 5 greenhouses or conservatory. Feel free to bring lunch, coffee, or a good book and hang out in the tropical conservatory for a lunch hour or just to get away, relax and enjoy the beautiful foilage. Outdoor gardens are open during regular park hours 6:00am - 10:00pm.
